Organisational Development Manager Permanent - Band 7

This is an exciting time to be an Organisational Development professional at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) and this is an excellent opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic individual to help shape the future of OD at ULHT, particularly in the field of Leadership development.

If you are successful, you will have the amazing opportunity to help to ensure the direction of ULHT is supported by a workforce, which is equipped with the skills and knowledge to deliver outstanding care, personally delivered.

You will work collaboratively with OD team colleagues and, on a project/portfolio basis, lead on the development, implementation, and delivery of a quality leadership offer in line with the Trust's Integrated Improvement Plan, aligned to the NHS People Plan and ULHT People Promise.

You will also work with HR&OD colleagues, senior clinicians, managers, staff-side colleagues and departments across the trust to provide specialised OD advice with specific reference to leadership development. Our aim is that through effective and consistent leadership we will be able to ensure our people feel valued, supported, developed and are able to deliver outstanding care.

We are looking for you if you are self-motivated and passionate with an ability to adapt to the needs of the service, and are able to design and develop new and existing projects and programmes.

Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, you will proactively identify areas where OD expertise can add value, develop solutions in support of goals, and improve organisational performance. Confident in facilitating team development interventions, which will highlight Trust values, increase engagement, strengthening team effectiveness, ultimately improving the patient experience. You will have a strong track record of delivery within a large and complex environment.

To meet this challenge, you will have specialist knowledge in the field of Learning and Organisational Development and be confident in providing efficient and high impact OD interventions . You will possess excellent communication, leadership, coaching and team-working skills.

As an organisation of some 8,500 staff providing acute services from hospitals in Lincoln, Boston, Grantham and Louth, flexibility to work across the organisation is essential.
