Physically pack customer orders, validate quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of products and items being packed ready for shipment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Examines packaging and contents of items for conformance to company specifications.Affixes shipping/carrier labels on packages.Compares items pulled with customer's order and other identifying data.Reads shipping orders to determine quantity and type of transport needed.Pack outbound orders according to set specifications.Affix International paperwork required by customs and the carrier.Will also perform other duties which might include; housekeeping-cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting, picking up and taking out the trash, etc.May be designated, according to the work volume to assist in other areas within the department when assigned or needed.Other job duties as assigned.Essential Knowledge, Abilities and Skills
  • Written/Verbal communication
  • Basic Computer skills
  • Basic math and reading skills
  • Able to lift more than 50 lbs
  • Utilize hand scanners
