Job Description

As the Paid Search/Ecommerce Lead you will lead, manage and own all paid search activity across Google, Bing, Amazon, Criteo, and any other growth ecommerce platforms. Working closely with clients, media owner partners, and internal agency teams to set the vision for the channel and execute against it.

The role also requires experience in leading a large team of specialists, fostering a culture of innovation and growth. You should be adept at translating the big vision into practical, actionable steps for the team, while helping to translate tactical tests and pilots back into the overall vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Paid Search and Ecommerce strategy and activation leadership across all divisions
  • Overseeing a team of 12, AD to Exec, split across London (7) and India (5)
  • Overall leadership of Paid Search across Google, Bing, Amazon & Criteo. Setting the vision for the channel and executing it through the team and partners.
  • Working closely with clients, internal teams and media owners to define and evolve the role of PPC for Samsung across both Ecommerce and Brand goals, developing a world class program
  • Building PPC credibility as a strategic lever within the media mix, raising it from an executional element of the media plan to a key driver of wider Samsung business goals
  • Working closely with Planning, Audience and Analytics team to evolve our approach to data driven marketing
  • Proactively identifying opportunities, designing, and leading delivery of automated solutions bespoke to Samsung. Supporting in productising them to sell to wider client portfolio.
  • Leading the output of the PGD (offshore) team to make them a key part of our performance offering, setting the standard for other teams to follow
The successful candidate will have:
  • Experience in paid search, preferably from an agency environment
  • Experience in client & team leadership
  • Experience in direct response/ecommerce clients
