Job Description

The Paid Social Account Manager will work with the Paid Social Account Director to devise and deliver best in class paid social strategies that drive real business results, in response to clients' business objectives. The Paid Social Account Manager will line manage a Paid Social Senior Account Executive to ensure client strategy is followed, oversee the effective execution of campaigns and ensure smooth running of accounts.

This role will work across multiple clients from different verticals, giving a wide range of experience and exposure to varied business challenges. The Paid Social Account Manager will work on Edrington's The Macallan, a luxury Scotch Whiskey focused on multi-market awareness activity, multiple Nestle brands (KitKat, Nespresso) as well as recent new business opportunities on Acer and RSA, which will provide opportunity to work on direct response orientated activity.
  • Clear and timely communication with clients and other members of the team
  • Ensure client strategy is followed and day to day campaign planning is in line with wider client business goals.
  • Ensure activation of client activity across social platforms runs according to plan and free of errors.
  • Provide support for your team as well as opportunities for development and learning. Have one to one career development catch ups with direct reports at least once per month.
  • Champion best practice and produce at least one case study worthy piece of work per quarter.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders: Client Planning teams, Buying Teams across all disciplines, Clients, Media Owners and tech providers.


Must Have
  • Experience planning, managing and activating large-scale brand and direct response campaigns.
  • Advanced knowledge of Facebook family of apps, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Snapchat.
  • Familiarity with the principles of common attribution models, understands the current industry challenges around measurement and can confidently articulate the limitations of third party measurement solutions for viewability and conversion tracking for paid social.
  • Strong leadership, communication skills and ability to engage with client and agency stakeholders.
  • Be solution driven and innovative with how they drive performance for their accounts.
  • Be strategic in planning goals for their clients as well as being able to demonstrate handling client objectives
  • Proven client management experience.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong evidence of delegation.
Will Ideally Have
  • Experience with or understanding of other digital channels, and ability to identify opportunities for cross-channel and cross-agency integration.
  • Experience with Social measurement solutions for both awareness and direct response advertisers.
  • Experience with PMDs and third party data and tech providers, such as 4C, Amobee, Idomoo, Adobe Audience Manager, Acxiom and Oracle.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Line management experience or experience managing an intern
