The Partner Operations team develops solutions for partners by creating scaled systems to address issues impacting their experiences with the suite of Facebook products. Within Partner Operations, the Partner Protection team protects users and ensures safe connections between Media constituents and their followers. We do so by understanding the landscape, identifying and analyzing problems and trends, and executing scalable solutions. We partner with engineering and other integrity teams to drive solutions.

Candidates are expected to think creatively about ambiguous issues and are passionate about problem solving. They will also be able to work successfully across teams and countries, and use their analytical expertise and empathy to proactively drive solutions for change and ensure safe experiences across the Facebook family of apps.

We count on specialists who are passionate about protecting both media constituents and the users they interact with. This individual should be passionate about investigating and conducting root-cause analysis to inform strategic decisions.

Partner Operations Specialist Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage a set of support queues by responding and resolving support cases and escalations with high quality, speed, empathy and accuracy

  • Identify trends and key insights to drive impact to team goals including product, policy, user experience, and operational efficiency. Ability to clearly communicate results of analyses.

  • Complete data quality reviews and audits as needed

  • Become a subject matter expert in workflows spanning a variety of media integrity disciplines (e.g.: policy creation and enforcement, process optimization, measurement and reporting) in order to effectively advocate for operational excellence

  • Work closely with Project Managers and Automation Specialists to build solutions for emerging integrity trends

  • Identify automation opportunities as we take down bad actors at scale

  • Improve integrity operations by understanding global challenges and needs, and influence scalable solutions to address industry segments and constituent pain-points

  • Support vendors to understand the impact of policy changes on the team's current work and surface gaps in policy, process, and tools

  • Partner with vendors to ensure that feedback is shared with relevant teams and proactively track the impact and success of remediation plans.

  • Potential for up to approximately 10 hours a month spent on weekend shifts.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, Engineering, Economics or 1+ years professional experience within an operations environment

  • Analytical background with experience managing results to metrics or equivalent experienc

  • Experience communicating the results of analyses in a clear and effective manner

  • Multi-tasking and prioritization skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data, such as manipulating large data sets in SQL or knowledge of one scripting language/statistical software/data visualization tool
