What's the role about?

The role is about providing risk management insight and assurance to the Executive, their leadership teams, and the Audit and Risk Committee, to enable risk informed decision making in the pursuit of Partnership aims.

The role is a 12 month fixed term contract providing cover for Maternity leave.

What will you be doing?

You will work with the Executive team and their leadership teams, providing insight, challenge and support, to facilitate the honest surfacing of risks and trade offs to strategy and goals.

You will provide a practical lens to create and protect value across the Partnership by providing risk managementSMEadvice and assurance over the Risk Management framework, embedding it across the business so that key risks and opportunities are identified, assessed, managed, and appropriately escalated through governance.

What you'll have

You should have the below skills, qualifications and experience:

  • Independent mindset and ability to think and challenge holistically in relation to commercial, reputational, regulatory, environmental and social risks and opportunities
  • Audit or assurance skills demonstrated by a professional accountancy qualification, Risk or Internal Audit qualification
  • Working knowledge of risk framework implementation in organisations, corporate governance and internal control principles
  • Experience of building and managing relationships of trust with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to have challenging and brave conversations with senior stakeholders in a clear and constructive manner
  • Critical Thinking
  • Data Synthesis

What else could you bring?

  • Experience of large scalemulti-site retailing orFMCG
  • Experience ofcyberor data, operations, customer, regulatory and programme risk management
