We are currently looking for a Payroll Process & Project Lead within the Global Payroll team focused on driving projects, internally and cross functionally. We are seeking an energetic, motivated, solution-focused individual that can work well with business/technical partners and leadership at all levels on payroll agnostic solutions.

This individual will be a key part of the Global Payroll Owner (GPO) team and will be responsible for driving long term initiatives aligned to the Payroll Strategy, delivering world class Payroll. This role will quickly gain an understanding of the 'as is' process and work with cross functional teams to define and execute programs which align with strategic objectives.

Payroll Process and Project Lead Responsibilities


  • This position is responsible for partnering with internal stakeholders/teams to design scalable solutions

  • The successful candidate will be an experienced Business Analyst, or Systems Analyst, with solid contributions in a finance or HR environment, is results orientated, a self-starter, and has demonstrated measurable success in contributing to the growth and success of the business

  • Drive regional continuous improvement projects across process, systems, data management, reporting & analytics aligned to our global strategy

  • Prior to deploying new processes and significant system enhancements, confirms business readiness of the global payroll operations team. As needed, communicates process and system changes to the extended user community

  • Communicate the priorities, partner requirements and sequential steps in operationalizing the Global payroll transformation roadmap and ensuring alignment across the organization

  • Continuously build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within Finance, Employment Tax, Peeps, Enterprise Engineering, and other related organizations to ensure that the end-to-end payroll input and output processes are optimized

  • Establish and implement global standards and best practices for payroll services including system evaluation and implementation, policies and procedures

  • Implement a process for metrics reporting and benchmarking, while utilizing data to ensure the organization is performing optimally when compared to other global organizations

Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance/Accounting, Information Technology or related discipline

  • 5+ years of experience in payroll, finance or HR operations in a global organization

  • Experience influencing at a leadership level

  • Ability to understand complex processes and systems architecture

  • Project management methodologies and change management

  • Experience working in and influencing in a cross-functional global environment

  • Experience thinking strategically and also acting operationally

  • Experience managing ambiguity, risk, and changing direction of projects and strategies

  • Proven record in identifying opportunities , proposing alternative solutions, and successfully realizing benefits of those solutions through implementatio

  • Experience implementing Service Level Agreement (SLA), Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and performance metrics and monitoring for in scope activities

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience in SQL, Project management and Six Sigma
