Payroll Team Member / Specialist
We are looking for experienced individual to join our existing payroll team at the Heathrow Shared Service Centre in Glasgow, and is an exciting time to join a high performing team that is well respected and where you will be challenged and have the opportunity to grow.
The role is required to create additional capacity to support the day to day delivery of our payroll as we move towards deploying a new ERP system (Oracle Fusion) in early 2021 which is part of a wider investment in re-shaping our support services across Heathrow.
Activities will include ensuring payroll data is accurate and delivers an accurate payroll first time, administer a range of pay impacting transactions and employee lifecycle changes, reconciliation of reports to ensure payroll accuracy, processing of maternity / paternity and sickness absence / statutory payments calculating adjustments, responding to and managing payroll queries, supporting overpayment calculations and implementing recovery plans and supporting the wider payroll running process as required.
You should have previous experience of working in a payroll environment (using Oracle would be preferable but not essential), have up to date knowledge of HMRC tax and associated legislation, be confident using MS Excel (vlookups / simple formulae) and ideally be either part or fully qualified (CIPP / SVQ or equivalent). #LI-POST
