Provide support to the Scheme Secretary, Company Secretary and team to ensure the effective running of the business area

Job Description:

Key responsibilities and tasks:

  • Provides a complete and professional support service to the senior members of the team - in particular with the Scheme Secretary.
  • Assists in preparation for meetings.
  • Assists in keeping the Scheme documentation and processes up-to-date.
  • Assists in keeping the Scheme website and document repository up-to-date.
  • Ensures filing, work logs and archiving are all up-to-date.
  • Assists with monthly/quarterly billing/invoicing as required.
  • Prioritise workloads and ensure that deadlines are managed and met.
  • Maintains accurate, complete and up-to-date time recording to meet client chargeable hours target as agreed with the line manager.
  • Undertakes other administrative tasks where instructed.
  • Carries out special project work as agreed with manager.
  • Acts in accordance with any statutory/professional/Capita guidelines including (but not limited to): peer review; time recording; conflicts of interest.
  • Commits to equal treatment of all staff/colleagues and treat everyone fairly.
  • Engages with the Group's brand values.
  • Develops pensions knowledge.

Experience, qualifications and key skills:

  • Microsoft packages
  • Ability to work flexibly and able to work under pressure.
  • Good communication skills and eye for detail.
  • Proactive
  • Works positively with colleagues and able to manage workflow
  • Aptitude for learning
  • Develop good working relationship with colleagues, in particular the Scheme Secretary
