PA/Admin Team Leader to the Surgery, Transplant and Anesthetics Division

The successful candidate will be joining a Trust with a focus on providing excellent patient care and experience alongside innovation; they will have an important role in supporting Surgery, Transplant and Anaesthetics to achieve these goals.

The main duties of this role are to provide confidential, high-level secretarial and administrative support as PA to the Deputy Chief Operating Officer, Divisional Operational Director Surgery, Transplant and Anaesthetics and also administrative support for the Operations Manager.

In addition, you will be the Admin Lead for a team of administrators, with responsibility for their management on a day to day basis in ensuring their workload and daily deadlines are achieved.

Previous experience of line management of staff will be an advantage. Other skills should include:
  • High level of communication and organisational skills
  • Keyboard skills and knowledge of Microsoft products
  • The ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
  • Applicants should have proven interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, have excellent organisational skills and demonstrate good leadership skills. You should also be able to demonstrate effective communication at all levels and work well as part of a team.
