Band 4 Personal Assistant

Newcastle and Moorlands Community Nursing Leadership Team

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced; motivated and dynamic administrator to join the Newcastle-under-Lyme and Staffordshire Moorlands Community Nursing Team as a Personal Assistant (PA) to the General Manager.

We are looking to recruit a PA who will provide day-to-day administrative support to the General Manager, supporting the wider leadership team working alongside, and providing day to day supervision to, the Senior Administrator.

The post will be based at Bradwell Hospital although there will be a requirement to travel to other locations across North Staffordshire and there may be a requirement to work from home due to current covid-19 restrictions.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate professionally with MPFT staff and colleagues from a wide range of partner organisations. You will be able to demonstrate good time management; be organised and able to plan your own workload and those of others.You will need to be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software, particularly outlook; word; excel and teams as these will be used daily.

A positive approach to change and ability to work flexibly and to meet deadlines is essential.The PA will provide daily support to the General Manager, monitoring and prioritising communications and diary invites. Additional duties supporting the wider leadership team will include; coordinating recruitment of new staff; organising and taking minutes at meetings; supporting with roster management for the community nursing teams and providing administrative support to HR processes.

This post will involve exposure to sensitive and confidential information, an understanding of the importance of confidentiality; data protection and information governance is essential.
