About the Team

PwC will be opening a full operational medical centre within our Embankment Place office in Central London. The clinic will provide industry leading preventative health screening and medical services to our Partners and Directors.

About the Role


Due to the opening of a private clinic in January 2021 we're now recruiting for a Pharmacy Dispenser to work alongside our Pharmacist. This is a private pharmacy with operating hours of 9-5, Monday to Friday.

You will be part of a broader clinical team, that includes doctors, nurses, physiologists and physiotherapists.

The day to day role of the Pharmacy Dispenser will include:
  • Liaising with courier drivers and Royal Mail representatives, ensuring the correct packages leave the pharmacy.
  • Receiving, and unloading deliveries from wholesale suppliers
  • Gather, organise, and assess patient information
  • Undertake other reasonable duties within the framework of the pharmacy as directed by the Pharmacy Manager
  • Cleaning work surfaces and shelving on a regular basis and ensuring that all dispensary equipment is kept clean and kept in good working order
  • Ensuring that refrigerated items are stored at the appropriate temperature and maintaining the temperature control record/logbook

Essential Skills and Experience

  • NVQ level 2 Pharmacy Dispenser
  • Have knowledge and capability of using pharmacy PMR systems,in particular experience using Rx web systems.
  • Experience in dispensing private prescriptions.
  • Familiar with the general Standard Operating Procedures
  • Capable to work a team whilst also thriving when working independently.
