What's the role about?

Retail is changing at a faster pace than ever before. Here at the John Lewis Partnership, we're constantly looking for opportunities to innovate and expand upon our offerings to our loyal Customers. John Lewis Financial Services (JLFS) is an area of particularly high growth, including products such as Home, Car, and Pet Insurance, Foreign Currency, and our very own Partnership card (to name but a few).

We're currently recruiting for an experienced Pricing Manager to develop the pricing strategy for John Lewis Financial Services (in association with 3rd party providers), and making recommendations to the business to enable JLFS to deliver the strategic and operational objectives.

In light of the current situation, this role will temporarily involve permanently working from home. Therefore it's key that you have access to a suitable working environment if at home, away from any distractions and your own secure wifi connection.

What will you be doing?

In this role, you'll be accountable for monitoring competitiveness and driving the development and delivery of the Financial Services product pricing strategies. You'll build our strategic pricing capability and competitive advantage, using Partnership data, relationships with the Leadership Team, Third Party providers and Group Customer Insight to shape and deliver the Pricing strategy.

What you'll have
  • Pricing experience gained in the Retail or Financial Services industry or related sector
  • Knowledge of how GLMs and other models work
  • Third Party relationship management
  • Strong communication skills
