Job description

We're looking for an experienced and successful Priority Client Programme (PCP) professional:
  • To lead the programme across the North;
  • Support the Regional Business Partner and with other regional strategic objectives linking to PCP.
The role will be focused on the successful delivery and management of the PCP through engaged LRPs and account drivers, working closely with the Regional Leader for the North. The role can be based out of any of the North Region locations and is aligned to the Sales and Marketing function reporting to the Head of the Priority Client Programme (UK Regions) with a dotted line into the North Region Business Partner. The jobholder must possess the experience and professionalism to be credible with key senior stakeholders, as well as to challenge and influence practice based account drivers internally, and be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the strategic business drivers for PwC.

The success of this Senior Manager role will be defined by delivery in three key areas:
  • Performance of the regions priority accounts against KPIs;
  • Supporting and engaging with Lead Relationship Partners and priority account drivers (leading to continuous improvement);
  • (As appropriate) supporting the wider North Region Sales and Marketing priority areas.

Key responsibilities will include:

Priority Account Programme:
  • Build your profile in the region and establish yourself as the recognised Sales and Marketing Priority Client Programme figurehead, acting as the focal point of all relevant activity.
  • Drive excellence across the North programme through: 1. The adoption of the PwC account planning framework 2. The delivery of client and account planning workshops 3. Exemplar use of Salesforce in tracking and reporting account activity 4. Timely and accurate reporting against the required KPIs
  • Establish a network of relationships across all Lines of Service in the region to support growth ambitions, and with Industry teams.
  • Support and attend client senior independent feedback sessions, utilise feedback to inform future planning and account development in order to address clients' needs (either directly or through the coaching of Lead Relationship Partners and Account Managers).
  • Develop an understanding of key client issues and the relevant PwC propositions that are successfully helping clients and generating revenue.
  • Support, drive & deliver relevant key national Sales Campaigns when required
  • Coach Partners & Staff on business development best practice

Engaging with the Regional Leader, Lead Relationship Partnrs and Account Managers:
  • Build strong working relationships with Lead Relationship Partners and Account Managers across the North.
  • Coach Lead Relationship Partners and Account Managers to strategic plan, deliver growth across the programme, through listening to client feedback, taking a themed/all Lines of Service approach.
  • Working with the Northern Regional Leader with regular reviews to drive accountability.

As a Senior Manager you will be expected to engage with, support and lead wider national sales and marketing capability activity as well as potentially providing individual career coach support.
Essential skills needed for the role:
  • A proven track record in a priority client programme role.
  • An expert understanding of account management.
  • A proven ability to work with practice teams to assist in identifying a pipeline of opportunities.
  • Strong knowledge of Pursuit, SPIN, Miller Heiman or another relationship/sales methodology and evidence of using it to drive opportunities through to revenue.
  • Experience of operating in a complex organisation with service focused propositions
  • An ability to coach people
  • Able to actively contribute & participate as a member of the Sales capability and wider Sales and Marketing function
  • The ability to build networks with Partners & staff at all levels across the firm and influence effectively.
  • A sound business understanding as well as being commercially astute and risk aware. An accomplished networker
