Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is looking to hire an experienced, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Robotics Engineer to support the application of the Amazon Robotics (AR) Technology in to our European Delivery Station Network.
The successful candidate will be a member of the European Amazon Logistics Engineering team and will be responsible to define, test and implement the Amazon Robotic technology in the Delivery Stations in their regions.
This role requires experienced and entrepreneurial minded Engineers with combined robotics, engineering, planning and analytical skills. The Robotics Engineer will own AR implementation projects end-to-end and will partner with Process Engineering teams, Operations leaders, and Facilities and Engineering teams to effectively operate advanced robotics technology across Amazon's last mile network.

· Responsible to design, implement and test Amazon Robotics applications in the European Last Mile Delivery Network
· Work closely with the AR Engineering counterparts in WW Transportation and Customer Fulfillment to drive standardization across AR application in Amazon.
· Industrial Engineering Design of workstations and automation modules to enable high throughput in an ergonomic workplace environment
· Collaboration with internal teams to provide technical documentation such as flow diagrams, equipment layouts, installation details, schedules and budgets.
· Prepare specifications and technical detail to fully define performance of equipment, material and services
· Execution of detailed analysis and testing of AR and engineering solutions and components
· Support commissioning of new AR installations
· Be responsible for incident follow-up, root cause analysis and documentation
· Fully understand and ensure procedural adherence to industry operating standards and safety protocols
· Support development and implementation of AR Service and Maintenance concepts for AMZL
· Actively participate in the EU and WW AR Engineering workshops.


· Degree in Engineering or equivalent industrial background
· 3+ years' demonstrated Engineering experience in an automation, robotics or manufacturing environment
· Proven engineering project management experience
· Proven experience across the full project lifecycle; from analysis and design to implementation
· Experience with complex projects in operations, processes, or performance improvement
· Strong problem solving and analytical skills
· Use of AutoCAD to review, develop and maintain layout drawings
· Proven ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues, drive improvements, and implement preventive measures
· Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously
· Ability to work independently with limited supervision
· Ability to support complex technical discussions with a variety of groups including software engineers, hardware engineers, technicians, and operators
· Experience with Kaizen and Continuous Improvement Processes
· Pragmatic and hands on working style.


· BSC or MSc
· Experience in PLC programming
· Experience with EAM Tools
· Knowledge of at least one other EU language is advantageous (German, French, Italian or Spanish)
