Summary

At Facebook, we are developing the future of AR/VR displays. As a Process Integration and Transfer Engineer, your job will be engaging with key R&D partners and internal teams to develop our current and next gen displays. You will be responsible for transferring our development process from external research partner to our ramp partner in Plymouth while helping to scale and integrate those processes in a manufacturing environment.

Required Skills

  • Implementing Facebook's LED development processes from partner facilities into our ramp-up line
  • Working with internal and external partners to specify, install and ramp materials, processes and production systems
  • Improving the maturity of our development process while continuously improving our overall Yield
  • Taking ownership of part of developments when scaling up the wafer size
  • Working with the research team to design and implement experimental work flows and products


Minimum Qualification

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Nano materials or related subject
  • 3+ years of experience and understanding in Front End of Line semiconductor process integration
  • 3+ years of experience in statistical process control (SPC), design of experiments (DOE), problem solving methods like 8D, process metrology, failure analysis and yield improvement
  • 1+ years of experience in site to site technology transfer in the semiconductor industry
  • Wide knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes in general
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks in a priority based timeline
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills


Preferred Qualification

  • Background in LED or micro-LED processing, GaAs and GaN material systems is a huge plus
  • Project Management knowledge is of advantage
  • In depth knowledge of one or more unit processes like PVD, CMP, ECD, Etch, Litho, ...
  • Experience with test and or reliability methods
