This role entails…
The Procurement Project Manager will report to the Head of Procurement Transformation and will have a wide remit to support all areas of Procurement and cost management at ITV.

The role will require you to support and lead a wide range of projects such as supporting high profile sourcing projects, helping to improve our internal capabilities, systems and processes, supporting our performance reporting and helping identify opportunities across ITV’s global internal and external spend.

This role provides a great platform for an individual who thrives on solving complex problems, likes new challenges and can deliver solutions that add value to ITV.

Some Key responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing a portfolio of projects to improve Procurement functional capabilities e.g. process improvements, new systems, etc.
  • Support the delivery of sourcing projects and value improvements across all areas of ITV, working closely with category teams and business stakeholders
  • Providing analytical support and insights to the different Procurement category teams, helping them identify opportunities, solve problems, assess supplier performance, gather external insights, etc.
  • Supporting key sourcing processes, including helping to develop sourcing strategies, optimising requirements or processes, support supplier assessments, aligning business cases with finance, etc.
  • Identifying opportunities to reduce costs or add value across the business through e.g. process redesign, demand management, innovation, digital transformation, etc.
  • Monitoring and sharing external insights on leading procurement practices
  • Helping develop a multi-year pipeline of value delivery initiatives 

To be considered for this opportunity you will need to demonstrate the following skills:
Minimum role criteria:

  • Previous experience working in similar project based role within Procurement, cost management or Consulting, ideally with relevant sector experience
  • Highly analytical with strong numerical and data visualisation skills

The Key role criteria is as follows:

  • Great structured problem solving skills
  • Process design experience (lean or six sigma qualifications ideal)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills - ability to make change happen
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, competing priorities and work in a fast paced environment
  • Results orientated and focused on high quality delivery 
  • Resilience, can lean quickly and has enthusiasm to take on new challenges and develop
  • Team player who can work collaboratively in a virtual environment
