What's the role about?

As a Partner in our business your number one focus is to work collaboratively to create more value for our customers and our business. You will be responsible for delivering Procurement sourcing activity in your specific area of responsibility. This could be one of the following areas: IT, Supply Chain, Marketing, Professional Services or Property. You will actively challenge how the business allocates costs, commits spend and manages 3rd parties with the aim of reducing the overall GNFR spend and Third Party Risk for the Partnership. You will deliver best value through your procurement, sourcing and negotiation expertise.

We have 5 vacancies for Procurement Sourcing Specialists - GNFR.

The positions are in IT, RPS, Property, Marketing and Distribution.

What will you be doing?

You will work as part of the Category Planning and Sourcing team delivering cost savings through effective source to contract activity and negotiation. Demonstrating effective and consistent supplier management and management of associated 3rd party risks will be really important, as will supporting category planning and management. We want individuals to give a robust challenge to business partners at all stages of the cost cycle to drive consistent delivery of commercial benefit to the Partnership.

What you'll have

Category Planning, Sourcing and Negotiation experience.

MCIPS qualified or working towards.

Solid understanding of negotiation principles and best practice.

Good experience of contract law and drafting agreements.

Good communication and influencing and facilitation skills.

Broad understanding of procurement strategy, policy and process.

What else could you bring?

Ability to challenge stakeholders, building and managing strong relationships both internally and externally to maximise delivery of the Procurement GNFR agenda.

Experience of commercial negotiation and the ability to take the lead on negotiations.
