Product and Retail Development Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Product Development Manager on a fixed term contract for 1 year, within the On Board Revenue department at Carnival UK's Head office in Southampton. The overall purpose of the role is to work with our 3rd party supply base to define, develop and deliver a product strategy for logo, own brand and branded products for both P&O Cruises and Cunard Brands. You will be working with some exciting premium and luxury brands as well as our exciting new sustainable product ranges including lifestyle and homewares.

Responsibilities and key outputs of the role will include:
- To work with the Concession Partners and Logo suppliers to create an attractive logo range that is Brand and Guest relevant and meets and exceeds our Guests’ expectations
- To deliver agreed financial targets from the new logo ranges
- Communicate clearly, transparently and regularly with internal and external stakeholders
- To negotiate contracts with new multiple suppliers for the provision and sales of products
- To support the ships and concession partners in the delivery of product and services on board our cruise ships across P&O Cruises and Cunard brands.
- To lead by example by taking care of the health and safety of you and others.
Ideally you will have experience in working in large commercial or retail organisations along with a strong commercial understanding. You will have strong numeric, analytical and financial skills and will be organised with the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines. You will be capable of head up as well as detailed head down work. A good communicator and influencer at all levels, you will possess a strong customer centric approach. A proactive self-starter with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders both internal and external to the business.
