What's the role?

We are looking for a Production Manager to lead our production, blending and scheduling departments according to our high safety, quality and output standards. This person will be act as a leader for these employees and will be responsible for the team's performance, development and coaching.

The key elements this role are:
  • Target setting and delivery: plant efficiency (OEE) + output, crewing + temp usage, mass balance, defect rate + safety incident rate, costs control.
  • Team leadership and people management - oversight of the scheduling, blending and filling teams with responsibility for managing performance reviews, growth plans, recruitment, and reward.
  • Communication + follow up on technical needs to EU engineering/facility manager - and collaboration with maintenance by Coaching/Assistance OEE.
  • Provide input for yearly targets/budgets SG&A (improvements)/Capex for Production
  • Work in respect of the budget, delivering the targets (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Motivation)
  • Manage and assist trouble shooting / Personnel capacity management


Experience you’ll need :
  • A proven track record in a Production Manager role or similar (strong experience of having managed big teams in a factory in more than one role)
  • Experience with continuous improvement, TPM , Small Group Activities (improvement teams)
  • Strong people leadership experience
  • Familiarity with key plant metrics + deliverables

As well as close contact to our shop floor , you'll need to be a strong people leader with great communication skills and an ability to drive change effectively, across all levels (processes, systems and culture). You'll be fluent in Dutch and English and will have a strong affinity with our values.
