What's the role about?

The Partnership Plan is designed to build a growing and sustainable Partnership in a very dynamic set of markets, some existing and some new. For the Supply Chain this means a continued need to invest in enabling the growth of our fast growing online channels whilst continuing to reduce our cost base wherever possible.

Throughout the creation of the Stock Flow function the intention has always been to act as, and structure ourselves as, One Partnership Supply Chain, becoming increasingly data driven and analytical, as well as seeking out the most efficient ways of working as we come together.

We have an exciting chance for you to join our Stock Flow team as a Productivity & Performance Manager. In this role you will lead a team who identify opportunities to improve productivity performance across the Supply Chain and provide stakeholders with insights and analysis on productivity and performance to inform their decision making.

Being the recognised expert on productivity models, improving accuracy and compliance, reducing deviation & variation to the operating model by improving underlying productivity measures.

You'll also manage how productivity and performance data is captured and measured across all of the JLP supply chain sites.Working with stakeholders across the business, you will be the key driver in proactively identifying opportunities for improvements in the end to end process of the Supply Chain. Once these opportunities are identified, you will analyse and

prioritise these, using your understanding of the network and the impact of change on its performance to proactively inform space optimisation and forecasting.

Please note, this role is based in Magna Park but can be based in Bracknell. Moving forward the role is likely to be blended working with a mixture of working from your office based location and home as and when required.

What will you be doing?
  • Working with key stakeholders across the business to understand and drive improvements in the end to end supply chain process
  • Leading a team in the measurement and creation of productivity and performance data for all Supply Chain sites.
  • You'll create shared vision and community of practice to drive operational productivity and effectiveness across the Supply Chain
  • Working with others within the Supply Chain, influence the prioritisation of opportunities identified to improve the network
  • Creating a 'bottom up' feed of site based data and insight into the wider Stock Flow Planning team
  • Set a framework for collaboration with 3rd parties and unions
  • You'll be a people manager of a small team which will include coaching and supporting your Partners to unlock their potential
What you'll have:
  • Technical specialist qualifications in industrial engineering - process flow mapping, work study management etc
  • Established Industrial Engineer with significant experience working in Supply Chain
  • Strong Leadership and Management skills - Experience of leading a team
  • Excellent Stakeholder management skills
  • Proven track record in developing and introducing labour planning models
  • Ability to provide advice on productivity implications for budgets and strategic changes in warehouse operations
  • Applying exceptional problem-solving, numerical skills and commercial acumen to deliver quality insight and analysis
  • Proven experience of delivering productivity-based improvements
