Nottingham University Hospitals Trust have an exciting vacancy for a Professional Development Lead to provide 7 months Maternity cover. This can be covered by secondment of internal employees or Fixed Term if external.

This role provides support within the Learning and Organisational Development function at NUH which supports the training and development of the Trusts 17,000 employees, therefore the day to day tasks are varied and the successful applicant will need to be able to balance multiple tasks at once to maintain the service level we deliver.

Managing all administration aspects for the Learning & Organisational Development team, is a key role and we are looking for someone with experience in managing budgets, payments, approvals and ordering. Project Management experience would also be a advantageous as you will get involved in the writing of business case proposals.

You will also be responsible for the management of a small team of Administrators, who handle all queries to the team via email and telephone, so management experience in a fast paced environment is a must.

Experience of supporting a training team would be beneficial to the role but is not essential.

I agree to reimburse NUH NHS Trust the cost of a DBS check if it is required (by deduction from first month's pay). Should I decide to withdraw from my job offer, I agree to reimburse NUH NHS Trust the cost of the DBS check undertaken by cheque or other agreed method.
