DESCRIPTION

The Global Mile - Cross Border Exports team is looking for a strong candidate for the role of a Program Manager - B2C Exports for exciting cross border initiatives.

The successful candidate will support growth goals for multiple Global stores, Core Exports and overall business; identify and manage new initiatives to improve delivery experience collaborating with Amazon Exports team, internal partners and external (carriers). The candidate will have a knack for data and will be able to gather large amounts of information to determine current state as well as determine impact to the business of technological changes.

The successful candidate will be customer obsessed and work closely with both internal and external stakeholder to identify global customers' needs, program manage new initiatives, support global customer product and capability development and deployment. This will define/refine daily operational processes that are scalable and cost-effective to support aggressive new cross-border B2C supply chain.

Key responsibilities/initiatives for 2020 include
· Standardize and develop logistics capabilities and operational processes (both external and internal to Amazon) for Cross-border initiatives(both ex-NA and ex-EU).
· Work with various internal stakeholders who will manage and operate products to document their requirements and work with the technology organization for implementation - including Sourcing, Customer Service, Transportation Operations, Finance, Accounting, as well as others.
· Conduct competitive analysis/benchmarking and operations deep dives linked to the role's objectives and support growth of cross-border exports
· Contribute to strategic yearly planning processes

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree
· 5+ years in supply chain, logistics, transportation or applicable experience.
· Strong Program/Project management skills (Product management experience is a plus)
· SQL, Data Analysis and advanced Excel proficiency.
· Proven analytical thinking, ability to convert strategy to product and operational capabilities, continuous improvement capability, sensitivity to details, and exceptional organizational skills.
· Excellent business writing and communication skills to peers and senior leadership teams.
· Organized, detail-oriented, self-starter and a quick learner.
· Excellent people skills to guarantee cross functional alignments and process implementations.
· Comfortable with ambiguities, conflicting priorities and multi-cultural and matrix environment and to work under pressure and aggressive timelines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Full Time Master's Degree from a reputed institution (MBA, Supply chain, Operations Management, etc) with 2+ years of work experience
· Previous Experience in consulting, program/product management
· Demonstrated ability to be a big picture thinker, strategist and long term planner
· Highly organized, ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little to no guidance and tight deadlines
· PMP certification is a plus
