DESCRIPTION

Amazon is looking for an experienced Program Manager, Supply Chain, with a strong delivery record and senior leadership experience to own and manage strategic, cross-functional operations and technology projects. This high-visibility role will require working with business and software teams across the company and around the world to prioritize projects which support both new products/programs and existing operations and supply chain systems.

Responsibilities include:
· Ownership of a high-visibility sales and operations plan for internal customers. Ensure on-time delivery of the plan, providing customers with a mid to long-term view on expected volumes and capacity, which are critical inputs for these teams to run their operation, transportation and labour planning.
· Analyzing future network programs and designs to understand their impact on capacity, cost, speed, and reliability
· Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive analysis, business cases and alignment with business stakeholders
· Write and review strategic documents to update senior leadership on the progress of network programs

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Candidate should have a degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics or similar quantitative field.
· 4+ years of proven experience of working in a highly complex analytical environment preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics or Transportation Planning.
· Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, and prioritize.
· Candidate should be able to think both tactically and strategically.
· Fluency in English is required.
· Advanced Excel knowledge is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Advanced degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics or similar quantitative field
· Proficiency in any scripting language, preferably Python or R.
· Proficiency in SQL
