If you like helping people, Global Operations is for you.Performance Management is a horizontal reporting and analytics team within Facebook Scaled Operations. We're focused on surfacing strategic problems and generating actionable insights to enable balanced operational performance. We provide an objective understanding of business performance through the analysis of metrics and 'connect the dots' to enable core SO teams make better decisions. We're looking for an organized and driven program manager to join our growing, global team. You'll have the opportunity to do exciting, impactful, and highly visible work that directly impacts Facebook Global Operations.

Program Manager, Performance Management Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of our scaled enforcement ecosystem and core operational and performance metrics and their drivers

  • Partner with cross-functional teams such as Product, Engineering, Analytics and outsourced vendors to lead or contribute to large scale strategic projects as well as solve ongoing operational problems at scale

  • Frame & scope problem statements, develop strategy, and use quantitative data and visualization to influence internal and external stakeholders

  • Investigate and define clear business problems and prioritize solutions using data-driven analytics, developing success metrics to measure project performance and alignment with team mission and goals

  • Help build best in class program management capabilities to drive balanced performance & operational excellence across the org

  • Surface project opportunities for future roadmaps and influence leadership to gain buy-in/support

  • Develop and lead end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery of critical initiatives

  • Manage strategic as well as operational projects with operations and data/analytics teams

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in applying expertise across multiple programs and stakeholders with competing priorities

  • Capacity to thrive when faced with ambiguous problems and capable of leading complex projects with autonomy

  • 'Systems thinker' with ability to connect people, data, process and product

  • Experience in leveraging data to build & deliver leadership presentations

  • Experience in conducting analyses, identifying insights and communicating results to inform business decisions

  • 6+ years of program management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in operational excellence and process improvement methodologies such as lean and six sigma

  • Experience in conducting data analysis using SQL, Python, Tableau and/or similar technologies

  • 6+ years of program management experience in consulting, strategy, analytics or technical program management experience
