Amazon is focused on protecting the health and safety of our employees while continuing to serve people who need our services more than ever. Regular testing on a global scale across all industries would both help keep people safe and help get the economy back up and running. But, for this to work, we as a society would need vastly more testing capacity than is currently available. Unfortunately, today we live in a world of scarcity where COVID-19 testing is heavily rationed. Until we have an effective vaccine available in billions of doses, high-volume testing capacity would be of great help, but getting that done will take collective action by NGOs, companies, and governments.

For our part, Amazon has begun the work of building incremental testing capacity. We are seeking a Program Manager to support deployment and rollout of a program within Amazon operations. A successful candidate should be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, have strong communication and analytical skills, and be detail oriented. This role will own the connections between launch sites and receiving sites.

Key responsibilities:
· Work across multiple stakeholders to implement new processes and procedures
· Own and drive the rollout activities relating to packing and shipping at all sites
· Identify and drive incremental process improvements and changes as the program evolves
· Ensure and reinforce process control and quality throughout the launch process and after
· Work closely with the central operations teams and individual business units to ensure the program is operating as expected
· Support wider rollout activities across different functions in a fast paced environment
· Serve as an escalation point for troubleshooting issues

· Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited university or college
· Proven experience in launch or program management
· Effective communicator, able to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and written
· Experience with performance metrics and process improvement
· Ability to respond quickly and effectively to escalations and resolve issues quickly
· Structured approach and an ability to effectively track and manage a large scale program

· Degree in Operations, Business or related field.
· The ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment under time pressure
· Ability to act as hands-on leader that can move easily between long term strategy and managing day to day tactical operational challenges
