ITV is embarking on a major cross-functional change programme where teams from Finance, HR and Technology will design and implement process and systems changes to embed digitally enabled ways of working across ITV, with a focus on driving business value.

This Finance and HR systems programme team will push boundaries, challenging and re-inventing current thinking and ways of working. Success will mean that ITV has the operational efficiency and effectiveness to remain a modern, global business and market leader across its diverse range of media and entertainment offerings.

This role entails…

Project communications:

  • Support a large transformation programme by developing a strategic communications strategy and lead the tactical delivery of the plan.

  • Engage with key stakeholders to share the vision for change, delivering the right messages, at the right time, to the right people. 

  • Work closely with the project sponsor and project team, translating project updates into compelling communications messages. 

Work as part of the central Internal Communications team:

  • Develop engaging content that’s simple and in line with the ITV branding and tone of voice.

Some Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop the Communications Strategy at a Programme level 

  • Develop and deliver engaging and innovative communication plans, campaigns and content that achieve stakeholders’ objectives and land in the business in the right way, at the right time

  • Design and develop communications toolkits and other required media to support ongoing communication needs

  • Manage the programme’s comms networks, channels, planning sessions and produces materials where required

  • Input, where required, into project specific communications deliverables 

  • Identify and where appropriate, addresses or escalates issues

  • Support with business partnering teams across the business

  • Support with day-to-day BAU communication activities in the central Internal Communications team.

To be considered for this opportunity you will need to demonstrate the following skills:

  • Required: Substantial Internal Communications experience in house or agency side 

  • Strong writing skills, strong experience in translating technical language into a simpler conversational tone, proofing and creation of detailed comms plans

  • Preferred: Experience of leading internal communications for transformation programmes or detailed change communications 

  • Change communication experience - from large scale projects to more regular BAU change

  • Experience of delivering internal communications across a range of channels and formats

  • Experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders. Builder of great relationships, gentle influence and confidence to speak out

  • Experience managing several big projects at once. Planning and project management capability, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once and meet tight deadlines

  • Brilliant at using digital and social channels with the know-how to create engaging digital content.

  • Ideally has a strong knowledge of Photoshop, iMovie and Adobe Premier Pro.
