An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Programme Manager to become part of North of England Commissioning Support Unit (NECS) on a fixed term basis for 1 year.

The successful candidate will provide expertise and lead a programme management team supporting the development, implementation and monitoring of the Digital ICS programme of work. Acting as the senior specialist programme manager you will be expert in providing advice and guidance to a small team of dedicated individuals within a matrix management environment to support the delivery of the programmes.

The post holder will provide comprehensive programme plans and progress reports to the Programme Board as per the agreed reporting schedule and on an ad hoc basis as the need arises.

The successful candidate will work closely with programme leads and sponsor directors to ensure interdependencies across all programme areas are considered and actions aligned. To provide leadership, direction and support to ensure a consistent approach through programme management to delivering organisational objectives.

Lead the development of partnerships and influence key stakeholders in the health economy to ensure the widest possible participation in the health and social care agenda. The successful candidate will have a strong ability to forge lasting relationships with key stakeholders.

It is essential that the post holder has experience of IT in Primary and Secondary Care within the Healthcare platform.

Extensive knowledge of working within the NHS and the Digital Agenda would be highly desirable.
