Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Director to join an established agency at the start of its journey in building a project management team. This role will be the lead project manager within our Clinical Trial Experience (CTE) discipline, responsible for high levels of delivery across a group of clients and team function. You'll get to work on a wide variety of projects with some of the agency's most valued clients.

In CTE, we deliver campaigns that recruit people for clinical trials, and support them once they are enrolled. We take a communications-led approach, focused on creating an insight-based identity and look and feel for the study, coupled with accessible content for patients, caregivers and HCPs. The materials we create are spread across print and digital channels. Clinical trials are a global business, so our materials are also translated and distributed around the world.

As Project Director you will lead delivery across a wide range of projects, clients and programmes, including initial material development, with a focus on the localisation of materials for use globally. By joining our newly created team you'll have a chance to make a difference - influencing how we deliver, shaping our approach to project management, and becoming an integral part of building an efficient, flexible and fun team.

This is the start of the journey in building the project management function. To be successful as part of our evolving environment you will need to be self-motivated, have ideas about ways of working, be able to build trust quickly and effectively with all team members/departments, and be happy to be the go-to person when we need a solution.

  • You will have at least 8 years' experience within project management and agencies, healthcare advertising is a huge bonus although not essential
  • You have the ability to manage complex, cross function, multi-channel projects influencing quality, budgets and timings
  • You will have experience of leading large multi-faceted clients and project teams
  • You should have strong commercial acumen and ability to manage, understand and report on financial health of projects
  • You should be able to identify gaps in knowledge and skillsets and recommend solutions to close those gaps
  • You will have experience of the full project lifecycle ranging from client brief through strategy, creative, design, copywriting, asset creation, production, execution and delivery
  • You must have experience of being the lead PM within a team and be able to show effective people leadership and a desire to develop more inexperienced PM's
