Role

The Project Manager will be responsible for the implementation ofthe SCS Project Controls platform based in the iTWO and Power BI software, coordinating theactivities required for the implementation of the systems liaising with the clientHS2, SCS project teams, Systems Integrator and the iTWO Vvendorr(Zueblin).

Key Areas of Responsibility
  • Timely delivery of the SCS Project Controls platform and all dashboarding and reporting requirements ensuring delivery effort is prioritised across teams with frequent reporting of progress to all stakeholders.
  • Responsible for the implementation of the SCS Project Controls BI platform aligned to HS2 overall project controls reporting requirements and data strategy.
  • Working with SCS functional departments to produce control and reporting requirements and collaborate with related vendors to create an integrated data structure for Project Controls reporting.
  • Project management and control of the implementation of the iTWO software
  • Liaising closely with IT personnel to ensure that all required interfaces between SCS functional systems are delivered on time to enable the iTWO implementation and supports the ongoing development and maintenance of the corporate data warehouse.
  • Report progress and support SME's to implement reporting tools: Power Bi, SQL, iTWO, etc.
  • Plan and manage training schedule with support from work stream lead
  • Ensure project is delivered in line with HS2 and SCS IT Policy as required

Ihre Qualifikationen

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Experience of implementing IT Systems within large constructionsprojects / organisations managing multiple stakeholders and interfaces.

Required:
  • Prince2 Qualification or equivalent
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering fast paced projects to time and quality across multiple busines types/sectors many times
  • Demonstrable experience of project managing complex IT Systems
  • Demonstrable experience in the development of reporting and dashboarding solutions to a diverse set of stakeholders in a fast paced environment
  • Strong leadership skills to solve problems and achieve project outcomes
  • Self-Starter, able to plan and prioritise workloads
  • Strong communicator able to present clear issues to HS2 and SCS senior management
  • Effective stakeholder's management across project teams
  • Fluent in English with good written and verbal skills
Desired:
  • Knowledge of project and cost controls systems and methodologies
  • Excellent resource planning and project board management
