About the opportunity

Department Overview

Client Engagement (CRM) team serves Fidelity's Institutional, DC and Wholesale Business Units in the UK, EMEA and Asia Pac and is a strategic area targeted for growth over the coming years. The Technology Department has been acting as the key enablers for the business in achieving their goals. The portfolio of projects will include a large collection of strategic initiatives as well as tactical ones to support day-to-day operations and strengthen the environment.

Purpose of your role

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced project manager to be part of Client Engagement (CRM) portfolio. The role will be responsible to manage several projects sized small to medium to large. Management includes the ownership for end to end delivery, stakeholder management, status reporting, team management, creating, and tracking and managing the delivery plan, setting up governance for the delivery practices, release management etc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects/SSEs (Primarily Salesforce Projects), manage business stakeholders and be completely accountable for all aspects
  • Interact with the project stakeholders and manage expectations
  • Manage vendors properly and have the governance structure in place to run things smoothly
  • Develop/review project plan consisting of activities plan and milestones, quality management plan, communication plan, resource management plan, risk management plan
  • Ensure that the overall plan is kept updated and project activities are undertaken and completed as per project milestones
  • Ensure that application documentation is as per defined standards
  • Ensure that project execution process are defined and implemented for efficiency and optimum resource utilization
  • Suggest improvements in system development process / application areas
  • Provide guidance to team members and ensure continuous skill development by proactively identifying training needs, and organizing training
  • Appraise team members' performance as per defined process
  • Interact with third-party to agree project strategy and plan, product roadmap

Experience and Qualifications
  • Overall 10 - 14 years of relevant industry experience and at least 6-7 years of experience in leading projects.
  • B.E. / M.C.A.
Essential Skills
  • Overall 10 - 14 years of relevant industry experience and at least 6-7 years of experience in leading projects (2-3 years in Salesforce Projects planning and execution)
  • Exposure to any structured software development life-cycle methodology (preferably Agile or Iterative development)
  • Knowledge of technology (Salesforce & Java/J2EE is good to have)
  • Experience of medium and large sized enterprise projects
  • Understanding of deliverables, review mechanism in place and
  • Experience of providing global systems solutions & knowledge of internationalisation aspects
  • Understanding of Configuration Management processes
  • Design and develop project proposals, including budgets and critical path.
  • Good knowledge and experience in at least one Quality management models
  • Any PM certifications will be an added advantage
  • Experience or understanding of high security reviews, DRs etc. so that can plan around the same
