The Role

As a project manager in the Transformation and Improvement team you would be joining friendly, passionate colleagues, rich in their diversity, who are committed to providing excellent care to our service users and their loved ones. Your work will be varied and always focussed on what matters - enabling and empowering brilliant care through brilliant people with positive change.

Do you have an interest in transforming and improving mental health, learning disability and autism services for service users, carers and staff? Do you enjoy working in partnership with clinical and operational colleagues to make a positive difference? Are you interested in project management and making things happen at pace? Working collaboratively with senior clinicians, managers, staff, service users, carers and partners you will be responsible for supporting people across the Trust and ensuring all projects have robust coproduction, a clear start and end date, a focus on measuring improvement, articulate lessons learnt and have a process for escalating and mitigating any risks or issues in a timely manner.

New starter bonus. We value our nurses and the skills they bring therefore we offer New Hire Bonus of £1200 pro rata for band 5 and 6 nursing staff.

Induction. KMPT provides comprehensive Induction programme to support new employees. This ranges from 2 days to 4 weeks dependent on role (not always consecutive days). You may need to travel across site includes Canterbury, Maidstone and Dartford.

Probation Period. New employees external to KMPT are subject to a six month probationary period.
