We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Project Manager to support the Learning Environments project as part of HEE Placement Expansion Strategy. We are seeking a highly motivated, forward thinking individual who wants to be part of creating excellence; and who thrive on working in a stimulating, high-pressured, strongly supported environment.

The post is a secondment/fixed term Project Manager (Band 7) to support the delivery of the Enabling Effective Learning Environments Project across the North East and North Cumbria.

The Project Manager will be working alongside the Strategic Lead for Enabling Effective Learning Environments and the Senior Reporting Officer to proactively deliver the programme whilst understanding the NHS pre and post registration education agenda for nonmedical professionals and how that impacts on practice placements, Higher Education Institutes and placement providers.

You will need to have experience in the principles of project and programme management, have excellent organisational skills, and the ability to identify and influence key professional stakeholder groups.

The Programme Manager will need to support the transition and implementation process, taking into account the behavioural aspects of change. They should be able to manage a number of regular programme work streams, ensuring that they run smoothly and deliver against the plans that the team will set.

You will need to be able to manage priorities, problem-solve and have the courage to challenge the status quo.
