Description
 As a Property Assistant in the Land and Property team for Area South at HS2 you will be responsible for the property casework and administrative support for the Land and Property team.

About the role:

  • Act as a first point of contact for queries to ensure the team responds quickly to requests from landowners and property occupiers and other key stakeholders;
  • Provide assistance to ensure that records of land and property interests are updated and accurate;
  • Support and assistance with claim casework and administrative tasks to ensure compliance;
  • Contribute to the team’s preparation for achieving and maintaining ISO9001 accreditation for quality management;
  • Be the local champion for internal systems and processed to help optimise efficiently;
  • Identify areas of interest for your own personal development;

Qualifications
 

About You:

  • Knowledge of data and information management;
  • Knowledge of the wider property industry and of compulsory purchase and compensation;
  • Ability to compile and analyse data, and present and produce reports to effectively communicate with stakeholders;
  • Manage communications and negotiations in a tactful way;
  • Effective organisational skills and the ability to prioritise conflicting deadlines;
  • IT skills including word processing and spreadsheets;
  • Experience of working with suppliers to develop effective working relationships.
