Regional Digital Inclusion Coordinator
Full time, 35 hours per week.
This is a fixed term contract until December 2020 (this is due to a funding review process, but we are working towards ensuring that funding continues beyond this)
This role involves a considerable amount of travel therefore applicants should be willing to travel to the areas highlighted on this map. (South West England)The darker patch shows areas that you should be able to travel to on a weekly basis (1-2 locations per week)The lighter patch shows your whole region. You should be able to travel to areas outside the darker patch once a month or once every two months depending on need.
The locations on the map are subject to changes and frequency of travel can be flexible.
This role will be home based in the region you are applying to with extensive travel within the region.
Leonard Cheshire is recruiting for a Regional Digital Inclusion Coordinator in the South West of England to support the delivery of our digital inclusion programme.
The role will oversee all digital inclusion work in a defined region to ensure that more disabled people are able to experience the benefits of getting online and being digitally included.
The programme gives disabled people access to computers to develop their skills and interests and supports a number of accessible IT suites and provides disabled people access to IT equipment in their homes.
The role will work closely with partners, volunteers and other stakeholders within a region providing them with advice, guidance and support to enable them to be more confident in supporting disabled people to use IT and get online. This also includes working directly with disabled people delivering one-on-one and group sessions and providing tailored support to enable them to reach their full potential.
