Role

Overallresponsibility for Requirements and V&V Management on the HS2 Main WorksCivils Contracts Lots S1 and S2 for the SCS Joint Venture. Reporting to the Headof Technical Assurance

TheRequirements Manager is responsible for:
  • Leading on the development and improvements to the processes for requirements elicitation, analysis and demonstration of compliance
  • Monitoring performance of the project on the production of compliance matrices & overall compliance to the Client's requirements
  • Working with the TA Change Management Team to assess & implement Client instructed technical requirement changes.
  • Briefing, training & supporting the Area Technical Assurance Teams on Requirements Management processes
  • Briefing and liaising with the wider project team and subcontractors on all relevant matters.
  • Development and management of the Requirements Management database
  • Ensuring the Requirements Management Approach meets with HS2 standards and the Contract Works Information requirements.
  • Responsible for the regular reporting on the performance of the Requirements Management and verification process
  • Leading the integration of subcontractors, 3rd parties and other work packages into the requirements management processes, through the procurement, design, construction & handover stages.
  • Driving innovation in the requirements management approach
  • Fostering collaborative working within the Requirements Management processes and the project team through database management and workflows
  • Supportingrecruitment processes and maintaining the required capability and competence ofthe Technical Assurance team.

Ihre Qualifikationen

RequiredQualifications & Skills
  • Appropriate professional qualification or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience of working on large infrastructure projects, multidisciplinary teams, in particular experience in civil engineering or rail would be an advantage
  • Experienced in the use of Requirements Management systems to manage project requirements
  • Strong communication skills
