Research and Support Officer – GLA Green Group
This is an exciting opportunity to become a Research and Support Officer for the Green Members of the London Assembly.
You will lead on housing policy and planning issues including those related to the environment. This role works closely with the Team Coordinator, two other Research and Support Officers, an apprentice and two elected politicians in a dynamic, friendly team. Your work will include undertaking research for the housing and environment committees, as well as providing policy briefings, drafting questions to the Mayor, liaising with the public and external organisations, managing correspondence and casework, organising meetings and writing clear communications material for a range of audiences. The work is fast moving and varied.
You will need a good understanding of:
- The work of the London Assembly and the GLA’s role in housing and planning.
- A high level of political awareness.
- Sound organisational, administrative and written communication skills.
- Experience of building relationships with a wide range of people.

This role is based at City Hall.
