FT Strategies is the FT’s boutique consultancy - leveraging the FT’s expertise to help clients grow their digital revenue and optimise customer engagement. We are looking for an experienced and ambitious individual to join this high growth start-up within the Financial Times.

FT Strategies is a talent driven business - our people are our product. We are looking for an experienced Talent and People Operations Manager to support our growing team on a part-time basis. This person will  help us deliver exceptional client engagements and develop a happy, healthy and high performing team. 

Key Responsibilities

This role will be responsible for supporting Management on talent management and staffing activities to deliver client projects, talent development, recruiting and business growth. Activities will include: 

  • Management of staffing projects, with FTS consultants as well as internal FT and external subject matter experts.

  • Collaborate with the HR, Learning & Talent Team to on team training and development

  • Coaching team members

  • Managing performance review process

  • Collaborating with the FT’s internal HR & Recruitment functions to recruit, develop and support FTS talent and supporting the process from a system and compliance perspective

  • Managing new starter on-boarding processes

Required Skills / Experience 

  • High level of emotional intelligence 

  • Experience in coaching / talent development  

  • Demonstrable experience in a People role, preferably in professional services and/or a fast growing team in a start-up / scale-up environment. 

  • Strong organisational, planning, analysis, and problem  up-solving skills;

  • Confident self-starter with strong work ethic, able to work independently with limited supervision - happy to take total ownership. 

Logistics: 

We are looking for someone to join part-time and immediately for this role. You will be based remotely at present and then at the Financial Times office in London. We are open to this role being fully remote / based in our London office.
