The Role

Here at Longhurst Group we want to deliver a range of much-needed homes and vital support services while focusing on our vision to improve the lives of our customers and communities. The main role of the on call support worker is to be able to provide support to the allocated member of staff on our emergency and out of hours, weekend service.

You'll help to provide verbal reports and record where necessary, ensure effective communication and continuity of service and attend regular briefings equivalent to a minimum of one hour weekly to be updated on progress and issues within the homelessness project. For this role you will require a vehicle.

About You

You will ideally be able to demonstrate experience of working with homelessness with supported housing or social care settings being advantageous. You'll ideally hold a level 2 in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards this. Safeguarding knowledge would also be beneficial to your application.
