The role of Risk Manager at Barts Health is a unique opportunity. We are a group of hospitals serving a diverse population in East London and beyond, providing the busiest emergency service in the UK. Our progress over the last three years has been recognised by coming out of quality special measures, and being rated 'good' by the Care Quality Commission for leadership.

This post will make a vital contribution to help us realise our ambition to provide outstanding, world-class services. We have developed a risk management strategy and made excellent progress over the last year in strengthening our risk management systems and processes from board to ward.

As our 'Group model' matures, we need to continue to promote a culture of effective risk management in each of our hospitals, and at Group level. The postholder will work closely with the Head of Risk Management ,the leadership teams at each hospital, and with colleagues at Group level, providing specialist expertise, advice and challenge. We have invested in the risk management function in recognition of its importance to the organisation.

We are looking for a dynamic individual with comprehensive knowledge and experience of risk management and a track record of delivery, who will embody our Trust values.
