rOar is Publicis Groupe's Project Management, Resource Management and Time Tracking tool. It is used by agencies that are on Altair, Publicis Groupe's SAP implementation.

rOar is built around the leading enterprise PPM solution, Clarizen. Clarizen is a SaaS platform that allows a highly customized experience to its users.

rOar team is responsible for configuring Clarizen and building custom solutions on it to enable the 600+ agencies and 85k employees in the Groupe to be more efficient and effective.

Job Description

We are looking for an Agile Project Manager who will be responsible for ensuring the rOar team's projects are delivered on time and within scope.

You should have a proven track record of agile project management, within a high volume, fast paced, agile software development team and have the ability to quickly develop a full understanding of the product and its future requirements, to ensure delivery to the highest of standards.

The ability to orchestrate a team of 15+, to meet multiple objectives and to protect the team from multiple demands is essential. As too is the ability to remain calm under pressure and communicate complex requirements clearly and effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed project and portfolio plans to monitor, track progress, and measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, and share them with the relevant stakeholders including but not limited to senior management
  • Track resource availability and ensure the most efficient allocation
  • Allocate the workload to sprints, ensuring the workload within each sprint is achievable and manage the sprint planning process
  • Communicate with relevant stakeholders daily and weekly about the status of sprints / projects, to include the running of the daily standup
  • Ensure that all sprints and projects are delivered on-time and within scope, and escalate to management in advance when deliverables will be delayed
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Track change requests and scope changes
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks and remove any impediments
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives and clarify specific requirements for projects, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure the backlog contains the appropriate items, that they are prioritized, and that the items at the top of the backlog are ready for delivery by constantly refining the backlog
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Promote and reinforce agile practices
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Both Agile project management and waterfall project management skills and experience are essential
  • Must be excellent in time and priority management
  • Must have first class communication skills and good negotiation skills
  • Previous experience in PPM roll outs and an understanding of the business' Project and Resource Management requirements is desirable
  • Must have excellent analytical skills with a focus on finding solutions to business problems via technology
  • Clarizen and Jira knowledge is required
  • Advanced Excel knowledge is desirable
