The goal of Amazon Logistics is to build a world class last mile operation. Amazon aims to exceed the expectations of our customers by ensuring that their orders are delivered as quickly, accurately, and in the most cost effective way as possible. This role is based our of our London corporate office and is for an experienced, motivated, dynamic, analytical, innovative, hands-on, and customer-centric Senior program manager. The person has a solid delivery record to own and implement strategic, cross-functional projects.
As a Senior Program Manager you will support Amazon Logistics coordinate, improve, and optimize the way parcels are shipped from our fulfilment centres and delivered to our customers. This role will oversees the coordination and administration of all aspects of an on-going programs including volume planning, designing and optimizing process improvements across various stakeholders from Fulfilment centres, Amazon Middle Mile services, and delivery station operational teams. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with good attention to detail, and enjoying working with large scale of data.
Key responsibilities but not limited to would be
· Deliver key actionable insights on how to optimize S&OP planning for AMZL accounting for the end to end flow of packages right across the Amazon supply chain
· Improve communication flows between all operational partners to optimize customer experience and cost where gaps exist in planning functions in the operations verticals of fulfilment, middle mile and AMZL

· Work with business teams across the company to define requirements and high level process/system solutions.

This position involves regular communication with project sponsors on status, risks and change control. Stakeholder management, cross-team coordination, project management, and executive presentation skills are essential.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Master's level degree, numerate subjects, and / or MBA
· Results-oriented , makes things happen, ability to move fast, innovate and simplify
· Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to develop ideas with limited to no supervision to take ownership.
· 7+ years of professional experiences in Supply Chain / Transportation or related environment for an International company.
· Solid data manipulation background and works with numbers on a daily basis and Experience with analyzing big data sets
· Good leadership skills and experience supervising people
· Proven experience of improving the end to value chain and experience designing advanced Supply Chain processes and implementing world class Supply Chain/Logistics tools
· Demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing priorities and projects in a ever-growing environment with a proven proven history of delivering results on large, cross functional, international milestone projects
· Experience in direct-to-customer fulfillment or distribution center
· Familiarity with supply chain management and transportation concepts : forecasting, planning, optimization, logistics, delivery performance, carrier negotiation, inventory management, S&OP
· Experience of SQL and data-driven approach

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Preferred masters in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems or related field.

· 5+ years of relevant work experience in a role requiring application of analytic skills to integrate data into operational planning.

· Working knowledge of SQL / ETL and visualization tools like tableau.

· An ability and interest to work in a ever-growing and rapidly-changing environment.

· Recent experience in project management, handling multiple priorities, and working with varied stakeholders.

· Customer focus and professional demeanour.

· A work ethic based on a solid desire to exceed expectations.

· Social skills, including written and oral communication skills
