About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a keen interest in luxury brands to provide proactive & efficient sales support to the Financial Times UK Luxury & B2C Advertising Sales Teams.
The main priority for this role will be supporting the publishing of How To Spend It Magazine (The Financial Times global, award winning luxury & consumer title), keeping all sales reps up to date with positional availability, flat planning and closing of the title as required. Will also be required to assist with the planning and publishing of all FT Weekend titles.
This role will also include proactive support of the managers and teams to maximise sales, including:
Able to help review current sales systems and processes and suggest, implement and help manage change that leads to increased sales output across the teams.
Supporting the production of sector, client and product reports.
Support of new cross platform product development and product launches.
Support developing client presentations and sales collateral where required.
Monitoring and distribution of daily leads, including using initiative to source new sales leads and follow up where appropriate to drive sales revenue.
Support the management and organisation of both internal and external events.
Support any travelling client managers/reps.
Maintain up to date ‘library’ of sales collateral, decks and presentations for both internal and external use.
Sending out of voucher copies, media packs, and other key sales collateral.
Create, organise and the sending out of mailings/emailings for products.
Dealing with and the logging of all general sales enquiries and ensuring that the enquiry is passed onto relevant rep to follow up.
CRM Management - accurate inputting of ad bookings onto Salesforces, supporting Account Directors with admin workload and ensuring all client contacts are updated.

Produce work of excellence, thoroughness and accuracy under pressure while working to very tight deadlines.
Strong team player with a very positive and flexible ‘can do’ attitude to their work and colleagues. Prepared to go the ‘extra mile’ to assist and support.
Confidently able work with all levels of seniority within the organisation.
Excellent Microsoft 365 skills (including Excel and PowerPoint) and ideally be familiar with Mac applications.
Experience with working with SalesForce or similar CRM systems.
Experience of working with and interpreting raw sales and research data and an aptitude for sales across print and digital.
