Corporate Tax

In Corporate Tax you'll help clients understand their obligations and comply with complex legislation, while managing the impact tax has on their businesses. This could include: - Making sure the tax compliance process runs smoothly - Liaising with our overseas offices to coordinate projects - Researching business issues that will affect clients' tax affairs - Providing tailored tax advice to your clients - Researching, planning and tailoring ideas to clients' needs - Meeting and building relationships with your clients.

What you'll do

Our Private Business and Private Client teams advise growing companies, partnerships and wealthy individuals on their local and overseas tax affairs while acting as a strategic consultant on things like business analysis, managing working capital and profit-sharing for partners.

In Transfer Pricing you'll help organisations understand the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties .

In Capital Allowances, you'll support clients to identify expenditure that attracts tax relief. It can be complex, and you'll gain an in depth knowledge of the tax legislation, HMRC practice and property. At PwC we have a Capital Allowances team which is made up of tax specialists, chartered accountants and property surveyors giving us a unique blend of expertise and insights into a business. This multifaceted skill set ensures we can be strategic and flexible to fully consider each aspect of a project and how the various stakeholders will be impacted.

What you'll gain

We'll support you as you study for a Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business (CFAB). This is a nationally recognised professional qualification with Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

What you'll need

Minimum requirements are 96 UCAS* for the ATT pathway or 112 UCAS * for the CFAB pathway from up to three full A-Levels (or equivalent), and a Grade C or 4 or above in GCSE (or equivalent) English Language and Mathematics. Exams must have been taken in the same sitting and resits are accepted only where modules or papers have been retaken in the same academic year. If you have any extenuating circumstances related to your exam marks or the sequencing of your exams, please declare this on your application and this will be considered as we review your application. *The UCAS tariff varies depending on the team and the professional qualification.
