An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Continuing Healthcare Secretary for Sunderland Clinical Commissioning Group/All Together Better Sunderland. You will be part of a team working within the Sunderland health and social care system guided by the CCG Vision, Better Health for Sunderland and CCG Values (innovation; transparency; patient centred, open and honest, responsive, empowering, integrity, inclusive).You will be part of a team committed to high quality patient and family experiences, working alongside other partners and stakeholders to ensure that patients recieve safe, caring, responsive, effective and well-led quality care to meet their needs. The right candidate will have a high standard of administrative skills, possessing or working towards NVQ level 3 standard and have experience and/or knowledge of patient data management systems. An excellent communicator, you will ensure high standards of customer service and have the ability to interact with all levels of professionals, clinical teams, families and patients. You wil have the ability to deal sensitively with sometimes emotive situation or difficut conversationss. With ability to work under pressure , you will be able to prioritise tasks and achieve deadlines within required timescales. With excellent organisation skills, you will be able to use your initiative to work without direct supervision, to adapt to change and problem solve to support the smooth running of the service. As well as being responsible for your own workload as directed by the Administrative lead, you will have a pivotal role in ensuring efficiency of administrative tasks and processes within the team. This will include supporting the administrative and digital element of patient assessment and review pathways, supporting staff in their learning of digital and administrative processes and mentorship of junior administrative staff. You will adhere to confidentiality and GDPR Data Protection legislation.
