Job Description

Due to growth, our Regional Security Manager is looking to recruit a numberexperienced Security Officers to join his highly skilled team. This role will be based at our Oldbury, Parsonage Street premises.

Key Duties and Accountabilities will include
  • Ensuring safety and security of our building and assets by carrying out all duties in full adherence of site Assignment Instructions.

  • Writing complete and accurate Incident Reports and taking appropriate action as required on all reports.

  • Working as part of a team to deliver excellent security and customer service.

  • Coordinating activities between, contractors, employees and visitors.

  • Liaising with emergency services and other third-party organisations.

  • Monitoring CCTV, Access Control System, and thermal monitoring systems.

  • Temperature testing of staff members

  • Answering calls and supporting the DPD Security Supervisor with any requested duties / tasks.


What we're looking for

As the successful candidate you must have a current SIA Licence in an appropriate sector. Previous experience in a similar position would be advantageous but training will be provided.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are critical to succeed in this role as are excellent interpersonal skills as you will be dealing with members of the public, staff and visitors on a daily basis. You will be someone with a responsible and trustworthy attitude who takes pride in your day to day work

Additional Information

Job Specifics
  • Our depots are operational 7 days a week so weekend working will be required. You will work 4 on 4off shifts days and nights.
