Our Enterprise Data Office, Data Governance team Deliver a service-oriented approach to provide comprehensive, training, education and dynamic tools to support the business in effectively owning and managing their data. They communicate the value of data governance services and quantify business value to own and manage their data efficiently and effectively

Your Role

Primarily responsible for leading the collection and review of data to be used in various regulatory reporting filings. Working with internal and external parties to ensure that all regulatory data is collected timely, accurately and loaded into the appropriate systems.

You will be responsible for:
  • Working with external reporting partners and internal project stakeholders to prepare and/or oversee monthly, quarterly and periodical regulatory client reporting production
  • Maintaining strong working relationships with all EMEA-located Client Service teams, the Investment Teams and all other stakeholders as appropriate
  • Staying ahead of all client regulatory reporting market developments and responding to client enquiries in a timely manner.
  • Developing a strong understanding of end-to-end investment management processes, the required data to support these processes, and the data quality and delivery issues that may impact the business on an ongoing basis
  • Providing oversight and direction to GIDS Regulatory Analysts as necessary including managing priorities and workload.
  • Maintaining BAU cycles of data aggregation process and loading into regulatory reporting system
  • Monitoring lifecycle from data sourcing, transformation, and enrichment and identify fails, breaks, or changes to target sources received
  • Maintaining data dictionaries and clear changes with Regulatory Data Manager
  • Conducting UAT testing when rolling out new regulatory filings or added data sources
  • Conducting review of key financial input data reconciliations for source data (example Trial Balance to holdings file)
  • Helping to compile management reporting dashboards of data quality metrics for the organization
The skills and experience you'll bring
You will:
  • Bring proven experience in business analysis, investment operations or accounting in a financial services firm or professional consultancy organization. Experience working with EMEA regulations including Solvency II, VAG, GroMikV, MiFiD II.
  • Have an understanding of financial documents or financial accounting
  • Bring knowledge of the concepts related to data modelling, coding and process flow design
  • Show working knowledge of financial documents, asset classes and derivatives
We are looking for someone who:
  • Can communicate effectively with different audiences
  • Brings some great organizational
  • Is self-driven and motivated with the ability to independently deliver
  • Has a solid understanding of Microsoft Office tools, primarily Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access. Sophisticated Excel skills a plus.
