If so, the AMXL operations finance team is looking for an experienced leader with a strong record of achieving results.

The Senior Finance Manager, AMXL Europe will partner closely with the AMXL Europe Operations Director in influencing the strategic direction of the business, driving operations excellence, and making sound investment and expansion decisions, with the primary goal of continuously improving the customer experience while driving long-term profitability for the Heavy and Bulky business. He or she will also partner across verticals, with other groups including Retail, Fulfilled By Amazon (FBA), MFN and Direct Fulfillment, Global Customer Fulfillment (GCF), Global Transportation Services (GTS), and Amazon Logistics (AMZL). He or she will lead a team that has three focal areas supporting the Heavy and Bulky P&L: 1) own end-to-end operations controllership across the AMXL Europe: Amazon operated and Third-party operated fulfillment centers, supply chain, middle-mile transportation, delivery stations, and last-mile delivery, 2) provide direction, decision analysis, and management of financial and operations controls to scale the business, and 3) work closely with operations leadership to deliver and execute the strategy to enable expansion (country and product launch).

Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as the ability to problem solve, drive strategic thinking and decision making, and prioritize the most impactful projects and programs that will drive the AMXL business. Finally, this individual will be a strong and inspirational leader to raise the bar on hiring, developing and retaining the best talent to continue to build our world class finance team.

Key Responsibilities include:
· Ability to manage and lead others, develop exceptional talent, and encourage the team to learn and be curious
· Interact with stakeholders at multiple levels and lead teams to define and deliver solutions
· Foster constructive and proactive communication across organizational boundaries
· An eye towards continuous process improvement, including the ability to innovate and simplify both finance and operational processes
· Demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving
· Drive annual and multi-year budgeting and planning process
· Lead monthly analysis of actual results compared to operating plan budget
· Perform deep dive analysis to develop recommendations and impact the decision making of senior leadership
· Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation & change management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance business needs
· Translate multi-year goal statements into fundamental key performance indicators to diagnose trends and support business decisions


· BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or similar degree
· Finance Leader/Manager or equivalent with 5+ years' experience leading a team
· 10+ years of overall relevant finance work experience


· Strong ability to work with business leaders to deliver results, including the ability to persuade with data. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
