We are looking to hire a talented and committed Program Manager to join the EU Workforce Staffing Team. We are a highly virtual team, so you can be located at any of our buildings across the UK. As Program Manager, you will help create the infrastructure to support the growing hiring needs of Amazon EU Operations. Every day, you will work with leadership to drive standardization across 200 buildings in 9 countries, rolling up your sleeves to do whatever is necessary. You will experience a wide range of problem solving situations, from strategic to real-time.
The successful candidate will have superb business judgment, with strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills. They will have experience of working in highly ambiguous environments and a track record of successful relationship management. They will have the ability to build solutions that can flex with the business needs and ultimately scale.

The successful candidate will work in lock-step with EU Operations and will:
· Assess performance and quality management
· Lead multiple simultaneous projects at an EU level to optimize hiring lead times, costs and service levels
· Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs, while measuring and identifying activities performed and ensuring service requirements
· Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels
· Manage the prioritization and trade-offs between different business groups, maximizing efficiency gains without compromising on quality
· Obtain buy-in from senior business leaders and stakeholders on process standardization
· Work creatively around the associated complexities in a highly inter-dependent team and the ability to embrace new technologies
· Drive execution of work in a non-hierarchical, matrix environment
· Prepare, analyze and present data on key impact areas
· Write clear and concise communication; this includes monthly and quarterly business reviews


· A completed Bachelor's Degree.
· Formal project management training such as PRINCE2 or PMP
· Demonstrable experience in large scale project management.
· Ability to lead, teach and develop associates and managers to deliver key organizational goals.
· Exceptional analytical skills, comfortable working with large amounts of data and communicating data findings, experience establishing and tracking program metrics including return on investment.
· Experience identifying and resolving issues independently, will take initiative even under unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances.
· Ability to develop and implement planning processes and procedures across geographically distributed teams.
· Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate strategy into operational plans and business results.
· Experience with managing large-scale organizational change.
· Experience defining technical requirements and working with systems resources
· Ability to travel one week per month to EU sites if required.


· Experience of working in a virtual team.
· International project management experience.
· Has worked for a large-scale process-dependent in FMCG, retail or manufacturing or logistics.
· Familiarity with working for a US headquartered company.
