As Senior Lead Digital Content, you will own the digital content strategy and its execution across designated digital channels particularly the website and app. You will lead a team of content editors and content specialists and own the content production for a variety of channels.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who...

  • Owns the content experience across a variety of channels including our website
  • Defines and executes a customer-centric and data-driven content strategy that supports our business goals
  • Sets and owns content production and governance processes for the team
  • Creates and manages an integrated content plan for agreed channels
  • Leads, mentors, and manages a team of content professionals, across multiple markets
  • Ensures data, SEO, and content best practice are at the heart of what we do
  • Defines KPIs and success metrics for content on digital channels and where possible, delivers strong growth against agreed KPIs, particularly around engagement and revenue
  • Builds and maintains strong and successful working relationships across a wide variety of teams, for both operational and strategic goals
  • Can drive large scale projects and initiatives and manage and prioritise a varied and workload
  • To be a passionate advocate for content, a creative and inspiring leader, able to develop teams and lead them through change
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience within the digital content and digital content strategy arena
  • To be an experienced manager and leader of creative teams
  • Excellent editorial and content skills and experience and qualification in journalism or a related field
  • To be collaborative, and able to bring people along the journey
  • To be a proven strategic thinker, able to create strategies and balance it with operational duties
  • Great interpersonal skills, and able to build string and successful relationships
  • Has significant experience in large scale digital transformations, particularly around CMS migrations and website redesigns
